We generally advise moving in the middle of the week as you'd find more flexibility in terms of times and crew size. We also offer better rates if you move in the middle of the month.

For the average one and two-bedroom apartments, the stadanrd team is made of 2 movers. For larger moves, we provide 3 movers or up to 5 depending on demand.

It usually takes 3 to 4 hours to move a typical one-bedroom condo or apartment. A standard two-bedroom apartment usually takes 4 to 6 hours, and the average three or four-bedroom house can take anywhere from 6 to 10 hours. Please note that many factors can influence the length of your move. Please speak to one of our moving experts for a more fine-tuned estimate.

Energy Crew is the only Toronto moving company we know of that doesn't charge a premium for a great moving day. Our reasonable and very competitive prices consist of a flexible first-hour fare and affordable rates by the half hour. You pay for the time used only! The average one-bedroom condo can be moved for as low as $490 plus tax.

As a responsible Toronto moving company, our goal is to provide the most reliable estimate possible. We encourage you to share all relevant information regarding your move, such as a complete and detailed inventory of your belongings, the type of access to your home (i.e. stairs or elevator), etc. Not only does this help us estimate the cost of your move more accurately, it also allows us to allocate enough time for your team to complete the move successfully.

Yes. We charge for the time used only! If the move is completed in less time than quoted, the price will be adjusted accordingly.

Not in most cases. However, if there are more than 26 stair steps from the main floor, a one-time fee may apply.

No. We are very proud to be one of the few Toronto moving companies that mention and list all charges upfront. All charges are listed in your confirmation email and on your copy of the moving contract, which will be presented and fully explained to you on the day of the move.

For the typical local apartment move, our movers are advised to avoid taking non-urgent breaks. If and when a break is needed, they will report it to you and deduct it from the billable time.

The clock starts when the team arrives at your first pick-up address and stops when the move is completed. Please note that if the pick-up or drop-off address is located outside of the city of Toronto, travel time (the trip to and from our truck yard) and fuel charges may apply.

For your convenience, we accept the following methods of payment: cash, all major credit cards, as well as Interac e-Transfer. We do not accept checks.

We strive to take care of you throughout every stage of your move. In the unfortunate event that something gets damaged or lost in the process, it is our policy to make sure we address the situation and resolve it in a fair and timely manner. Please contact us within 5 business days of your moving day to report any damage that you believe we may be responsible for.

We resolve claims in accordance with Section 8 of our Terms of Service, which is where you can find our Damage Protection Policy. Under the policy, you may be eligible to recover from damages to your personal property at a rate of sixty (60) cents per pound ($.60/lb.), per item damaged, up to a maximum total claim for all eligible items of $1,000 per order for labor-only services or $2,000 per order for labor-and-truck services. For example, if a 100-pound dresser, valued at $300, is damaged during a move, you may be eligible to recover a total of $60 (100 pounds multiplied by 60 cents). For more information about our Damage Protection Policy, including any exclusions or limitations, please refer to Section 8 of our Terms of Service.

For liability reasons and the safety our teams, we no longer move pianos. We recommend that you arrange moving the piano with a more specialized piano handler.
