s reported in a previous article, some events may prevent our movers from arriving at the scheduled time. Many of those events are manageable and our internal data suggest that the lack of detail in the list of items being moved was one of the the prime causes of delays for the subsequent move.
In many cases, customers do not fully list all their items when scheduling a crew to move them. Because of a lack of time; many customers can simply not provide all that information over the phone. Sometimes it may be due to the fear that revealing a detailed list may influence the price.
The reality is that Energy Crew Moving & Transportation does not charge hidden fees. Everything the customer pays for is mentioned to them when they're booking a crew and is also reminded to them before the move starts. Furthermore, we do not charge for the quantity of the items being moved. We only charge for the time required to accomplish the moving job.
Given all the reasons highlighted above and because, unless otherwise specified, all of our estimates are non-binding; we insist that the final price may vary depending on the real time required to accomplish all tasks. We always try to anticipate the unexpected by slightly overestimating, however due to events such as constructions, road hazards, weather conditions, elevator scheduling issues and many other; we cannot guarantee our estimates.
If however, you have reasons to believe that you have been unfairly charged, please speak with your booking agent.
