Measures to reduce delays

A

s we have noted in many of our articles dealing with the quality of our Toronto moving services, it is in our best interest as a professional
Toronto moving company
to be as efficient as possible. The current article is a continuation of a previous topic questioning whether movers are always late.

In this article, we will offer our solutions to the questions raised in a previous one and we hope to highlight the points that make us a different and better Toronto moving company.

To reduce to likelihood of being late, we have put in place a set of preemptive measures whose major lines are the following:

  • When scheduling a move, always allow a gap of at least an hour between two adjacent moves
  • When scheduling a move, always insist on having the most detailed list of items from the customer
  • Always assure the customer that we charge for the duration of the move, not for the quantity of items being moved
  • Never accept a moving job when there are not enough movers to accomplish the tasks
  • Check the weather forecast and construction projects when planning driving routes
  • Avoid scheduling moves for rush hours as much as possible.
  • Inquire about the architecture of the building when the loading dock is far from the elevator or the pick-up room
  • Warn customers against moving around ends of the month
  • If a scheduling conflict is imminent, notify the concerned customer ahead of time

As part of our ongoing effort to provide our customers an excellent service, we are constantly reviewing these measures and making sure they are effective.
